Frequently Asked Questions
What services does Northpoint Post offer?
We provide private edit bays, quiet editing suites and flexible office space for film, TV, commercial and documentary projects. Our studio also offers access to award winning editors and a comfortable environment for long form work.
Where is Northpoint Post located?
We are on the border of Williamsburg and Greenpoint in Brooklyn. Many teams choose us because we are close to home and avoid the commute into Manhattan.
Do you offer short term editing suite rentals?
Yes. You can book a suite for a single day, a week or for a longer run. Many documentary and series teams settle in for multi month edits.
Can I rent an edit bay for a full project?
Absolutely. We host long form projects regularly, including documentaries, indie features and branded content campaigns.
What makes Northpoint Post different from other post production studios in Brooklyn?
Our space is quiet, comfortable and set up for focused work. We keep things flexible and low stress, and our location near Williamsburg and Greenpoint makes it easy for teams to stay in Brooklyn while still working in a professional post environment.
Do you work with independent filmmakers as well as larger companies?
Yes. Our rooms have been used for projects from A24, HBO and Disney as well as a wide range of independent filmmakers.
Is Northpoint Post a good choice for documentary editing?
Very much so. We host documentary teams often, and our edit bays are set up for long stretches of work with reliable internet and comfortable setups.
What is the best way to book an edit bay?
You can reach out through our contact page or email us directly to check availability. Visits can also be arranged if you want to see the suite before booking.
Is your studio a full post house or mainly an editing studio in Brooklyn?
We offer both. Many teams come for edit bay rentals, but we also support projects with finishing, workflow management and access to editors.
